Learning Autobiography (LAB # 1): Formal and Informal Educational Experiences 9/1/2013 LAS 30012 Writing and Critical Thinking in the Liberal Arts Ottawa University In order to be successful in today’s world it is a necessity to have an education. According to dictionary.com an education is, “the act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgment, and generally of preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life.” When you think of an education, your first thought is probably of one in a class room. Though this is where the majority of learning takes place, there is also learning that can be taken from experiences in everyday life. Both of which however are crucial to ones future success. Here is my education experience in my life time, and how I plan to use my education to better my life.

Our business idea is “to offer a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them”. • We work hard to achieve quality at affordable prices for our customers through optimizing our entire value chain, by building long-term supplier relationships, investing in highly automated production and producing large volumes.
Quality refers to how well designed and made a product is and the expectations that people have of a business will influence the way that the products are designed and created for customers. Apple is known as a top technology manufacturing company due to majority of people having mobile phones being iPhones. Apple customers have high standards for quality expectations for new products. Because of the advances in technology, Apple needs to upgrade and adjust current models of their products to satisfy the needs of customers’ expectations. Every year or so Apple will bring out new models of their iPhone, iPods and laptops that live up to the hype of the customers’ expectations.

Ludovico Gonzago strongly promoted Mantua for its art and culture he had the church of Sant Andrea rebuilt by Alberti who displayed religion and architectural with a combination of three ancient roman forms temple front, triumphal arch and basilica. For the interview project I spoke with Jessica Flynn a US history and AP Comparative Governments and Politics teacher at Greenwich High School. She has been teaching at Greenwich High School for two years now. I was able to get some of her insight regarding curriculum and how it works in her specific district. 1) How do you integrate technology into the curriculum that you teach? * At GHS (Greenwich High School in Greenwich CT) every classroom has a Smart-board, which is especially useful when integrating technology into daily lessons.
Ancient Rome is defined by their unique arches, vaults, and domes. These arches, vaults, and domes were created by masters of art and design with one thing in mind, beautiful but functional design. This paper will describe the landmarks of the ancient Roman empire. Chosen Topic As I researched ancient Roman architecture, I was intrigued by their complex engineering, and I became curious about their building techniques. The ancient Roman empire and its’ landmarks interest me because of their uniqueness, complexity, and skills.

Having a competitive advantage they produce products like the IPad IPod, Mac, Apple TV and IPhone. Although some would say apple has lost its competitive edge with the passing of CEO and founder Steve Jobs, the company remains one of the leading sellers in the technology industry. In the world of personal handheld devices, the I industry remains dominant among its competitors and can continue to demand a price for which Apple known for, and yet holds its value even through re-sale. Apple has a variety of products that appeal to all cultural demographic.

However, like most things, the idea was replicated and soon other companies were following the model; none like Samsung however. Samsung took apple’s idea and made it their own. After Jobs death, the identity of the company took a hit as well as their market share.
