Savannah’s are in places like: Kenya, North America, the north and the east of South America. In Kenya there are many savannahs. The one that I am talking about is in Kilimanjaro the mountain range. The Savannah is similar to grassland however without lots of lush grass growing in the same area. The Savannah has a dry and a wet season unlike desert areas. Plants in the Savannah have to adapt very quickly to the life of the very hot and long dry seasons. Therefore the plants have to take up a lot of water in the wet season to last them thought the dry season. The savannah in Kilimanjaro is special because it is very hot in the dry season and very cold in the wet season. It is almost contradicting because near mountains it is very wet and cold.
