4). The Southern New Jersey Planned Parenthood prenatal clinic has a partnership with Cooper Medical Center. By joining forces with the Cooper Medical Center patients can receive prenatal care at the Southern New Jersey prenatal clinic and deliver their babies at a reputable health care facility by trained medical residents. This partnership is valuable to the health care marketing strategy because both organizations can coordinate and help guide an individual's health care needs without the potential of conflict, jealousy, or competition. Each organization benefits from wider exposure, more referrals, and marketing that is more efficient (McCord, 1999-2012, para.
The experience opened my eyes to the fact that shelter animals especially, need love and care. The dogs do appreciate our company and help, and it was truly heartwarming to be able to give the dogs in the shelter the care and attention they need. Overall, volunteering made me feel compassionate and motivated to make a difference for animals. I have been working at the Peninsula Humane Society since July of 2013, and plan to continue for the future. In volunteering with the dog department I gave care by spending time by petting, playing with them in their doggie “condos” (space).

Over time I was able to see the positive the effects these sessions had on the children and their families. Conducting these sessions has taught me the importance of incorporating the foster parents. I was able to help the parents implement techniques and strategies that resulted positive behavior changes in the children. I have never been more ready or eager to take the next step in my journey and begin my studies in mental health counseling. I believe this program will lead me to a fulfilling career, which will be rewarding in terms of the help I will provide to others.
Many hospitals try for OHE. Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska and Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington both have the Planetree designation. Good Samaritan’s philosophy is to promote a OHE through the belief that everyone is a caregiver, care is best giving with kindness and compassion, physical environment need to promote healing, health and wellbeing, and that safe and high quality care is vital to patientcentered care. They use the arts to promote healing by using music throughout the hospital and providing movies for patients. They belief that caring for the caregiver is as important as caring for the patients.
Also, I want to help educate the public about the proper care of animals. Working as veterinarian will satisfy all of those needs while providing me with a rewarding career that I will continue to enjoy for the rest of my life. Although my mind is set to be a veterinarian there's all kinds of career paths to choose from as a veterinarian. It is hard to grasp the concept of selecting what career path to choose from that's going to be right for me; it would have to be something I will be interested in and want to pursue every day for the rest of my life. Two of those choices would be in zoological medicine and a veterinarian in an animal emergency hospital, but the one job I wouldn't want to do is shelter medicine.
Electronic Medical Records Opinion Paper and Annotated Bibliography Electronic Medical Records and the potential mandated implementation of these types of systems across the nation pose many questions and potential obstacles for healthcare providers over the next decade. The discussion of my opinion and the affects on practices and hospitals across the United States is the basis for this research. It is important to preface my analysis with a background of my thought process prior to the research and my intentions are far as discussion of the topic. Therefore, before I began my research, I had a fairly strong belief of what I thought I would discover throughout the process, and my assumptions were confirmed over the course of the
Case Study: JIT at Arnold Palmer Hospital Managing Operations across the Supply Chain – GSCM 206 1. What do you recommend be done when an error is found in a pack as it is opened for an operation? The most basic and immediate solution is to get another pack and order a replacement as soon as possible. Even though the Arnold Palmer Hospital uses the JIT system, they do have spare surgical packs for emergencies but they are bulky, must remain sterile and take up a lot of space. By adopting the JIT system, these types of errors are known instantly and the delivery company can be notified within a day so they can ascertain the reason for the error and take appropriate action to correct the error and ensure that the spare surgical pack is replaced.
Nursing Documentation and Malpractice Law HCS/545 Health Law and Ethics May 31, 2010 Mary Nell Cummings Nursing Documentation and Malpractice Lawsuits Proper medical documentation can prevent liability issues and malpractice lawsuits. The focus on my paper will concentrate on nursing documentation and malpractice lawsuits. I presently work for a home health care agency. A series of education training of documentation was implemented to help reduce episodes of Medicare payment denials and self-protection through adequate documentation.
