Theodore Roosevelt ”Success is not an accident” Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th president of the United States also in his years of studying law he became a sheriff for New York Expanding my knowledge about our 26th Theodore Roosevelt I learned some great things about him. He has accomplished a lot in his life that I would love to share. From his adolescence, college experience, and the success he has mastered. I was very interested in furthering my research. With the encouragement of Theodore Roosevelt’s father he began a new hobby of weightlifting due to the lack of strength he had from the illness he was diagnosed with. 1. Theodore Roosevelt’ father would sit with him throughout the nights of his adolescences life to his mind off the pain. 2. Theodore Roosevelt’s father set up new activities everyday which helped him gain his strength and soon his asthma was no longer a problem in his life. b. Theodore Roosevelt was homeschooled as a child. 1. Due to his illnesses and asthma Mr. Roosevelt spent most of his time inside. 2. Theodore Roosevelt benefited from being inside as well because he was able to nurse his passion for the animal life. c. Young Theodore enrolled in college at the age of 18. 1. Compared to other children because Theodore spent so much time confined inside he was privately tutored which boosted his knowledge and prepared him for college.
