It target audience were, restaurant owners, families, single mothers and the youth who love to cook and wants to eat healthy. Back then men were viewed as superior because that’s all they were ever taught. “It takes a lot of dishes and a lot of washing up, for mum to build an athlete” (Fairy Liquid and the Olympics) this reinforces the idea that women do the household chores in service to the males of the house. The implication that housework is purely a woman’s work is completely unacceptable in today’s day and age where women are seen as strong and independent. The unequal distribution of domestic responsibilities has held women back for generations; it still today continues to hinder women’s progression in the work-place.
Due to John’s lifestyle choice to put work ahead of personal matters, he is always out trying to make a good living for him and Anne. Due to this, Anne, does not get out much and lives the life of a stereotypical stay at home woman. This includes cooking, cleaning, chores inside the house and taking care of the men. One can see this when Anne says, “I’ll get them a good supper-and for coffee tonight after cards bake some of the little cakes with raisins that he likes...” (Ross, 291) One can see in this quote that instead of doing something progressive for herself, like painting, she is preparing a meal for the men’s arrival. Like any stay at home woman.
One important point to be made is the delegation of domestic labour. While men typically take on the responsibility of being the breadwinner, the one who goes to work to earn the income that supports the survival of the family, women are left with pretty much if not all of the housework. Women tend to cook dinner for both the husband and the children, all of the cleaning be it clothing or the general mess of the home and are responsible for childcare. Emotional labour is also very unbalanced. Radical feminists argue that its the wives and not the husbands who are looked to in times of distress or when problems occur, Radical feminists would describe women as more likely to listen, to agree, to understand, to excuse and to flatter.
Also, everything is cooked the way the customer chooses. When finally served to the customer, if it is not cooked right or is not correct, they will offer to correct the problem. The amount of food given with your meal is a good amount. Employees of Ruby Tuesdays must love what they do because they have passion with every move. As when you walk through the door, to when you leave they are steady smiling and greeting you.

Despite Darryl’s wife Sal (Anne Tenney), who is constantly ‘beautifying’ their house with her (bad) handicrafts. Darryl seizes every opportunity to compliment her, especially about her cooking. When being served dinner, Darryl exclaims “Wow, what is it?” “Chicken,” she states. “Yes, but what are these sprinkles on it?” “Seasoning” “Seasoning!! Louis had a great lifestyle. One of his favorite things to do was eat. Since he loved eating so much, he had over 500 cooks, waiters, and other servants working around the clock to keep him happy. Also, if it wasn't done the way he wanted, or in a timely manner, he wouldn't be very happy. When traveling, everything had to go his way, and would only stop to comfort his needs.
