After September 11, 2007 the national government issued the USA Patriot act to detect any further treat of terrorism to the US and all of its citizens. The act enabled law enforcement agencies to obtain powers such as to search people houses with minimal proof, access your medical records, and tax records. Most Americans saw this as unconstitutional because it striped them of some individual freedoms, and others saw it as an attempt to get the government more power. The USA Patriot should be outlawed because it takes away your sense of security, gives agencies to much power, and it’s unconstitutional.
