The Truth About Abortion God knit us together in our mothers’ wombs. Sadly, many people end God’s wonderful, miraculous work through abortion. So much so that approximately 46 million girls abort every year and 115, 000 every day. In an article on Timesonline.co.uk Sarah-Kate Templeton explains that abortion can effect a girl’s mental health. This is a section of the article:
Women may be at risk of mental health breakdowns if they have abortions, a medical royal college has warned. The Royal
College of Psychiatrists says women should not be allowed to have an abortion until they are counseled on the possible risk to their mental health. And in many countries it’s illegal, but people stubbornly do it anyway. 26 million abortions per year are in countries where it is legal, the rest (20 million) are in countries that don’t let women have abortion. Women identifying themselves as Protestants obtain 37.4% of all abortions in the U.S.; Catholic women account for 31.3%, Jewish women account for 1.3%, and women with no religious affiliation obtain 23.7% of all abortions. 18% of all abortions are performed on women who identify themselves as "Born-again/Evangelical"
It is so sad that even Catholic, Jews, Protestants, and Christians are ending God’s miraculous work. But even when women end the poor unborn baby’s life, remember that it is a sin, but it is also part of God’s perfect plan.
