According to this fact the aim of this paper is to talk about problems that face English as a foreign language learners when translating a present perfect sentence into Arabic. The paper also talks about strategies, ways and methods of translation used in translating Present Perfect Tense from English into Arabic, passing by the uses of this tense in English and the possible equivalence in Arabic. As a clumsy paper, the approach followed in this paper is humble and the way of presenting the subject is plain, it relies heavily on references and the approach is deductive. It might be useful for foreign learners of English Language and Translators avoiding committing mistakes later on and understanding differences between English and Arabic structure.
