THE TAJ MAHAL The Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world and is one of the world’s most unique monuments because od it’s history of how it became a reality, the architectural beauty of the palace, and the culture of the location where this magical palace stands. The Taj Mahal is one of the most popular historical attractions in the world. Many people from all over the world come to visit this amazing mausoleum. Despite of everything the Taj Mahal has gone through, it has been standing strong for decades. The Taj Mahal is known for a true symbol of love and passion, but there is so much more to this intriguing landmark that makes it a one of kind historical structure then just love and passion. The story of the Taj Mahal of how it became a project of love and passion was to show how devoted (male protagonist) Shah Jahan (Prince Khayyam) was to one of his wives (female protagonist) Mumtaz Mahal (Arjumand Binu Begum). This story is known melt hearts it is that touching and because many people that have fell in love, it touches their hearts and can relate to this story. Shah Jahan had many wives but Mumtaz Mahal was his favorite wife and accompanied him everywhere as his number one lady. Shah Jahan named Prince Khayyam was born in 1592. In 1607 Shah was striding down the Meena Bazaar and that was when he first laid his eyes on Mumtaz Mahal; they both agreed that it was love at first sight. At this time that they met Shah was 14 years old and Mumtaz was 15 years old and was a Muslim Persian Princess. After meeting her Shah went straight to his father and declared that he wanted to marry Mumtaz. The match got solemnized after 5 years in the year 1612.
