The story of Antwone Quentin Fisher’s life is model for young people today. In the book finding fish by Antwone Quentin fisher, the author portrays the incredible hardship he endured in the form a heartfelt memoir. Fisher is a role model because he overcomes incredible hardships, he makes tough choices under difficult circumstances, he set limits for himself as a good morals and values, he accomplished difficult task and in the find success in spite of the negative influence in his life. Antwone Quentin fisher is a role model because he became over hardship for example when Eva was seven months pregnant she ends in jail and when Frances shoot and kill his father “the impact of the buckshot struck Eddie’s stomas… And then down ward without hitting a single stair step, crashing to the ground with an earn shudder.. then the father said, you killed me”(pg. 20) and even when Wellenda was abusing of Antwone making him to have a sexual abuse hitting him and telling him bad words that make him shake of afraid. “My hands shake as I started to undress...” (pg.44). It shows how Antwone grow up without a family, been lonely and abused as a kid during his childhood, who was an innocent kid and don’t even know nothing. May be the cause for been abused, born in jail and lonely with a killer family would be the reason fo why he may be rude or fell sorry for himself. Another reason for why Antwone Quentin fisher is a role model is because he make difficult choices, he was a homeless when he decided to join the army even when he doesn’t have nothing in the world in that moment, and losing his best friend Jessie who represent too much for Antwone, who he saw how he was shooting and seeing how he was dying. “that was a poster that lured me in side… and at the bottom, inviting type was a phrase that really got me: join the navy, see the world”(pg.260) He also learned to treat people
