The Seven Habits – An Overview The Seven Habits is a principle-centered paradigm which helps a person to obtain personal and interpersonal effectiveness. Covey describes seven habits and gives techniques for applying the seven habits. Covey says that we all have our own paradigm, which is essentially how we perceive things. Covey writes, “The way we see things is the source of the way we think and the way we act. Covey makes it clear that one must make a "paradigm shift" which causes us to perceive things differently.
My type of company would be a six Sigma approach whereas the company develop strategies both long-term and short-term to focus their efforts in order to make a more effective and efficient operation. A learning organization is the process of using a strategy that company to build training to improve and create a more effective operation. This approach requires organization, consistency, adversity and integrity from management down. This this must remain persistent in developing a total strategic approach. Having a strategic approach within a learning organization is a very communicated direction.
I am neutral on my results of the future portion of the survey. Future-focused people are very driven, centered around objectives, and fond on making schedules. They have a reasonable thought of where they need to get in life and spend the present working towards accomplishing their objectives. I have future goals that I want to complete and spend every moment I have working towards completing it. Then again, I do not work as indicated by agendas and in order to start achieving my goals, I need to be highly motivated.
We choose success or failure. Through self-awareness, which is an ability possessed only by humans, we can identify the areas in which much energy is expended and to change them in order to be more proactive. Being proactive is taking responsibility for our own life. We cannot blame our shortcomings in life on our genetics, circumstances, or conditions. Proactive people recognize that they are “response-able” which means they have the ability to respond in a positive and effective manner.
