Like the Army Values of leadership, duty, respect, selfless service, honesty, integrity, and personal courage, the scholar-practitioner model must be applied every day in our decision making and problem solving processes, and especially in setting the example for my Soldiers. Prior to taking graduate courses, I have never heard of the scholar-practitioner model, but once I did some reading and researched the model, I realize that there are some similarities with the military’s core value system. So how can I apply what I have and will learn from my studies at Kaplan to my future assignments within the Army?
