There is also an in functionalism in the FRG just based on the fact that every deployment is different and that affects the way the groups are formed. The groups are formed by an FRG leader who the company commander has chosen to lead the group. She then calls the names on her list which is a list of each soldier and their spouse in that particular company. She then sets up a time, date and location of where everyone meets. Then it is up to the spouse of the soldier to decide if they want to keep going to the monthly meetings.

History is being made everyday, and being taught everyday. It has a big effect on our future, and reflects the past. Democracy is a type of government where the people are allowed to have a say in electing their new leader. Democracy “is for the people, by the people, and of the people”, says Abe Lincoln. Over the course of the year my history class has discussed many issues from the 1870’s to
The testing for EIB is all individual, like tests in school. Being a Non-Commissioned Officer I’m in charge of 3-8 other soldiers, helping them study and train for the EIB testing. I helped 4 of my subordinates achieve their EIB along with myself. I pushed them to work harder and learn, so their EIB test would be a little easier. The EIB testing has been one of the hardest moments in my military career, now having earned my EIB I’ve set myself apart from my peers.

A Leader must always care above all else I had only heard of good army leadership, but I had never met or experienced it up close and personnel. His name was Sergeant First Class Timothy Crutchfield, and he was my new boss here for the next three years. He cared for Soldiers, but he would tell you it was his job. His job showed through all that he said and did; he was an Army leader. He taught that sometimes leadership has to be personnel to be effective, that we should never give up on those who we have been given to train and lead, and that leader’s must supervisor their subordinates to show that they care for their well-being as well as that of the countries, it is our mission.
