The Public Needs To Know Obesity in the school system needs to actively be addressed and come up with ways to combat these issues. Given the recent rise in childhood obesity, the School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLP) have received renewed attention. Throughout their article, ( Millimet, Tchernis, and Husain), will show statistics that the SEP and NSLP helped children from pre-school thru school-age children using a panel data on more than 13,500 primary school students.
