At first I was very nervous about finding information online and the online collaboration, but being a part of this unit was extremely empowering and it has taught me to be more understanding of each individual situation when working collaboratively. I will take all of this information on board and no doubt use it in my future

As our consumers view our pins and re-pin them our brand is exposed to new consumers as well as untapped markets. Facebook is a social app that allows us to easily reward our consumers for their loyalty and friendliness. If they choose to get the Facebook Places app they will be able to share with their friends about where they are and show that our brand is good and trustworthy. Without trust and interaction between the brand and consumers the brand cannot grow. The best way to gain that interaction is through social
Advertisement, commonly viewed as a way to promote a product, is more than what it seems. In the present day, critics view advertisements as a propaganda that guides the audience the wrong direction. Mr. Schrank suggest that some people who watch advertisements are vulnerable to the “ad’s attacks.”(Doc. E) However, I disagree, advertisements are informative to our daily lives; without them our world would probably fall apart. They do just more than promote a product; an advertisement helps wage for jobs, educate people, and also explains how to make our lives better.
A negative impact that 9/11 has had is the effect it has had on the economy and also with the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Thus the increase in security levels have made citizens feel safer about living in the United States of
The NHS will also suffer from the negative externalities created as smokers who were reliant on therapeutic gum will now be suffering the effects of smoking again. Another intervention can be information provision which can be provided through the medium of social media, television advertising and radio. This will correct the information failure, and can be used in conjunction with tax to increase the effectiveness. Technology, when used properly, may aid a society’s development, but overall the extent of what technology may accomplish could hinder rather than progress society’s growth. Ray Bradbury conveys this message in Fahrenheit 451 with the use of specific aspects of technology unique to the story’s society. This leads to the realization by the reader that when technology is abused, its use may develop into an extremely harmful addiction. While many devices are mentioned in the book, one such example of harmful technology is the stomach pump. The stomach pump is a medical device used to replace the bad material inside of a person’s body.
Those actions seem all good; nonetheless, in real world, it often ends up the adverse consequences. Most of the time, politicians speak in the benefit of people; yet, in fact, they have a bigger goal to do so: to be popular or to get elected. Because of that reason, everyone should not look at the surface of the issue but dig down inside to see its real nature. Things just may not be the way it seems. It’s like a toxic candy with poison inside but sweet sugar covering outside.
“Into the Electronic Millenium” Sven Birkerts Most individuals, if not the world, may consider technological innovations and advances to be a beneficial aspect in our contemporary society. However, according to Sven Birkerts in his article, “Into the Electronic Millennium,” the assimilation of technology into our society has only affected us negatively. On one hand, the usage of these modern gadgets has caused detrimental effects to our daily language, altering the way we speak and communicate for the worse. On the other hand, such electric components have also provoked a loss of value for privacy as well. In accord with Birkerts ideals, I too, agree in the detrimental effects evoked from such technological advances.
Having an intellectual conversation or debate is no longer limited to the classroom, technological advancements in communication have driven people to interact and collaborate with people all over the planet spreading and expressing new ideas in new ways. It lowers the barriers of self directed learning and inspires exploration to satisfy curiosity or interest by offering a degree of freedom and autonomy not apparent in classrooms (Et Al 3). This is one of the greatest benefits of the internet, it grants you the freedom to learn about whatever you want while allowing you to establish credibility for yourself in your field of interest by connecting you to people interested or involved that field of interest. This freedom to share exchange ideas, creations, and feedback promotes the youth to create, share, and collaborate. Whether it be posting a tweet or writing on a blog, technology is giving young people a more and more diverse variety of ways and reasons to express their thoughts and opinions through writing.
