The Person I Have Become Life is like a train ride off the edge of a giant cliff. We're all trapped and headed for death, but some of us can ignore this and have nice conversations on the way down. During the bumpy train ride, a little over 17 years ago, I was brought into this world by a wonderful woman. She has always taught me right from wrong from being a baby, through my toddler years, adolescence years, and currently my teenage years. The experiences I’ve encountered from .great times, proud times, hard times, and times that are just well enough not said. But through it all I have learned from my mistakes and achievements, and am now the person I meant to be. Throughout it all, my past, present, and what I wish my future to be, has made me a better person. As long as I can remember, my past was inevitably challenging at a young age. The environment I lived in wasn’t comparable to just any ordinary child. I lived in the life of two immigrant parents who struggled to raise two daughters with a limited amount of income. Throughout it all, my parents became residents of the United States and gave my older sister and I a memorable childhood. Living in Healdsburg helped us build trust and friendships throughout our community. Although we reached a turning point within our family, we learned that not every family is perfect. All we could do is be there for each other and support one another. In addition, our lives shifted and we were forced to move to Santa Rosa for my families safety. My sister dropped out of high school after facing a depressing point in her life and began to support the family. Being only 7 years old I began to understand how important it was for me to make my family proud and education was the key to success. My past made me a wiser and less naive person and helped me realize that I can never live to think that life is like a field with
