The Notebook produced by Toby Emmerich New line cinema presents The Notebook a film based on a bestseller book by Nicholas Sparks. It is an extremely great film, for anybody of all ages, it shows how true love can go a long way trusting someone and if you really desire something you should never give up. Also, it is a wonderful film for just about anybody. The Notebook is a film that tells a story, the story of two young teens Allie and Noah who love each other for the sake of love. There love is pure unlike countless others, who love for money or fame. Though they will face several obstacles, their love will have to stay strong and true till the end. Hopefully they will make it out of the troubles that lie ahead. For example, Allie’s mother is standing in the way of their love; she wants Allie to date someone of her social class. Even though Allie truly loves Noah, you know that great love with deep passion and hope. Moreover, The Notebook contains multiple scenes where it reminisces. As evidence, in the beginning of the film it starts with the modern times in a retirement home where an elderly man named Duke is reading a novel to his wife. Consequently, the film will go back into the past for the viewers to experience what he is reading to his wife. Furthermore, the actors in the film do an amazing job of portraying the actual characters, and how they should actually be. Specifically, the two lovers Noah and Allie they really get into the character as two youngsters really in love. For example, just as in an excerpt from a letter that Noah mails Allie after a recent breakup he still shows the love he has towards her which states “the best love is the kind that weakens the soul, and makes us reach for more, puts pints of fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds” The Notebook is a total must see for young and old.
