The Night My Whole World Changed My day started out just like every other day. I lay in my bed, awaken from the bright sun, wishing to fall back to sleep. I really didn’t feel like waking up for work. The parking lot at work was deserted. This was going to be a very long day. While at work, the only thing keeping my friends and I occupied is the never-ending plan making for the evening. Tonight is the night befor thanks giving and is the biggest bar night of the year and we all want to hang out. Since I live the closest to the bar we chose, my friends and I decided for them to meet at my place and drink a few before heading out for the evening. As we pulled down the street, the view of the number of cars and people everywhere was quite surprising to me. I knew that it was going to be busy but this was crazy! It is going to be a very fun night. Time was flying by. I don’t think I could even try to count the amount of beer and the number of shots I had drank in the short hours that have past. It was about 12:30-1am and I felt it necessary to find our designated driver for us that night. We have all drank so much. There were still so many people in the bar. The noise was starting to be unbearable. The bar gives everyone free drumsticks when entering, so being in a small building where everyone is banging drumsticks on the tables and walls can get pretty old. I finally pushed through the wall of people towards the bar and there I found her. Our designated driver was still tossing down shots with the bartenders. There is no way I will let her drive us home. I knew it wouldn’t be a smart choice for me to drive but someone had to get us home. I put down my drink and hopefully I can drive us home at the end of the night. That’s when my whole world changed. I needed to find my girlfriend.
