I find that my closest and best relationships are those who have common values, way of living, and ideals about living life. Once I find a relationship that is trusting, I try to maintain it to my best ability. I am very easy to talk to, however my best communication is with others that have the same values. I express my liking for the other person by showing some generosity and kindness. Part II: Impact On Management Style The manager sees their role as that of a guide or coach, to show staff what to do and how to do it, and then get out of their way and let them do it.
This type of friend, in either category, knows when what’s being asked of them is too far; they are also those who want to see the best in you and will always be by your side, even when the going gets tough. Most of all, a true friendship is a mutual symbiotic relationship and it’s these relationships that are an essential part of life because friends help us through tough situations, they offer hope make someone feel worthwhile. Many books and/or short stories try to capture the importance of these relationships and in any form of literature we see either healthy friendships or ones that will never last. The last three pieces that we, as a class, had to read we were able to see how “friends” interact and how friends are supposed to act based upon the teachings offered by Aristotle on the subject matter. All three of the texts of “Melvin in the Sixth Grade” by Dana Johnson, “Book IX” by Aristotle, and “The Man who was Recklessly Curious” by Miguel de Cervantes are written on the subject of friends, however all portray their message in different light.
Many care relationships are reciprocal, family members support each other through their own choice and this can be beneficial to all. It is when the role of caregiver and receiver become blurred that difficulties can occur. While carer’s roles can be personally rewarding i.e. satisfaction of improving someone’s quality of life and strengthening relationships, the financial and emotional impact can be very restricting on the wellbeing of a
I think the humanistic-encouraging trait is important because like any other leader, people must trust you, set goals that are attainable, learn how to resolve issues in a constructive manner, and encourage your followers. I enjoy listening to people’s problems and helping them think positive and find the healthiest or best solution. I am normally the person my friends come to when they need to talk to someone. I believe as a manager a person must have a sense of how a person is and deal with each person individually if needed so each person as an understanding of what is the mission is. Controlling as a manager is something I believe I will have to work on.
Weir also relied on Stephen: “You’ve been a marvellous friend to me Stephen. I’ll never forget when we lay in the shell hole and you talked to me”. This shows how they both needed each other to survive the war and they were aware that their friendship gave them strength to carry on. Similarly, in ‘Regeneration’ we see a close bond between Graves and Sassoon. Candice Axtell has suggested that “Graves is placed in Regeneration for the reader to grasp the theme of love between men” .
They learn to accept themselves and to realize that they are important not only to themselves but to those in their community. They learn through friendship that they have much to offer. Their friendship helps them to see that even though their lives are troubled, they will not be beaten down. They are inspired by each other's friendship and this helps pull them through in the end. Jefferson realizes that he cannot change what has happened but must maintain his pride.
Dr. Naeger would have been the type of person to truly care about his students and help them however he could. He would have made his students feel successful, smart, and valued. He may have even been a father type figure to some. The woman bringing the flower to place in his lapel is a testament to the love that people still feel for this not to be forgotten mentor. Dr. Naeger is proof that you don’t have to be perfect to be remembered and honored.
He called this personality-type theory. The theory states that people feel that their job or profession is fulfilling if there is a match between some important features of their work and their personality (Holland 2002). I believe I will be successful because I will love what I do. Despite my past or anything in between I know I will be a person that helps others. Even if it’s just a little piece of the puzzle I provide I will have helped in some way give a family the closure they will need when they are in need of comfort.
People shouldn’t be afraid to show emotion; It is what makes each of us unique, after all. Sometimes it is good to cry over a loved one. It makes it evident to others just how much you loved them. Courage helps people understand your feelings and improves relationships between family and friends. Being able to show your emotions takes courage, and some may not understand, but having the courage to stand firm in yourself is a valuable
