The setting is in many different places. The main places are Half Blood hill, Los Angeles, Denver, and the under world. The main characters are Zeus, Percy, Grover, Annabeth, Hades, Ares, and Poseidon. Zeus, Ares, Poseidon, and Hades are all gods. Grover and Annabeth are friends of Percy

There was a boy named Percy Jackson. It all started when his class took a field trip to an art museum. He was hoping he wouldn’t be in trouble this time. Percy had been expelled many times. He also had disabilities. His only friend was a boy named Grover. A girl named Nancy started teasing him. Without Percy knowing, Nancy ended up on the water fountain. All the boys and girls said that the water grabbed her. Percy didn’t known what they were talking about. Then one of his teachers told him to follow her. Her name was Mrs. Dodds. They walked into a part of the museum where no one was. Then she unexpectedly turned into a monster. Then the other teachers walked into the room. Another teacher threw him a pen. Percy closed his eyes and un capped the pen. When he opened his eyes it had turned into a sword. Then the monster plunged at him. He swung the sword. A terrible shriek was heard. She disappeared into thin air. Percy   went to where the teachers and children were. He asked Grover what happened to Mrs. Dodds. Grover and the children pretended that Mrs. Dodds never existed. The teacher told Percy that he should bring his own writing utensils and took his pen. Later he got in trouble with some of the other teachers. The school sent a letter to Percy’s mom saying he wouldn’t be welcome next year.
One day Percy heard Grover talking to Percy’s Latin teacher. They were talking about keeping Percy alive till next fall. Then Grover left. After Grover left, Percy went back to his room. At the end of the last day of school, Percy booked a ride back to the city. Percy thought it was going to be hard to...
