It was a crisp early morning in the June of 1992, when Ellamia’s (Ella for short) life began. The life of this precious baby girl would never be the same from then on. Taken from her mother too early her life was bound to have complications from the start. Being born with immature lungs was the least of her problems once she turned 4 and was diagnosed with asthma, though the immature lungs was a contributing factor, spending time with her favorite grandfather was about to become limited if he didn’t give up smoking around her. Not long after her brother turned 15, in March of 1997, he moved out of home due to circumstances that would never really be known to Ella. In the January of 1998 her life was yet again about to change for the worst, her best friend died, and she never had a chance to say goodbye as she was on holidays with her family at the time. They were to return on the day of the funeral, and she was to attend. When they arrived home her mother got her dressed, but as she was coming to terms with the fact that she was never going to see his beautiful dark brown eyes or his soft wavy black hair again, she broke down sitting in the corner crying. Ella was that hysterical that her parents decided that if they waited for her to calm down, they would miss the funeral themselves, so they left without her. Not fully understanding that not attending the funeral would be something she would have to deal with for the rest of her life. In the November of 1998 she would lose yet another person close to her heart. Her Grandfather passed away in the early hours of a late spring morning, only to be accompanied by his eldest daughter as his other children had gone home to comfort their families. At the time of his death he had 8 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild and 2 great-grand children on the way who were due to be born the following May. In the
