Bolin Grand Canyon University BIB 123 The New Testament History September 16, 2009 The Kingdom of God is Like Introduction The Kingdom of God has many meanings to different people. From the rich to the poor, the sick to the healthy, the life or the death of a loved one, it can be found at different places and situations where people feel comfortable where they live, sleep, eat. Everyone can find a description of what the Kingdom of God is like to them. Jesus’ life of teachings can be focused on about the Kingdom of God and what his role entailed. Jesus has taught us that God is all around us, from nature, home, farm, work. If you look with your heart and have given your life to God, He will show you everything that he wants you to know, He will show you how to listen for his words, and he will heal the sick and disfigured so that they will be able to cross into the Kingdom of God. Sitting beside a babbling brook, the running of the water, the beautiful flowers, and the wild life. It makes you want to believe that this is what the Kingdom of God is all about. That there is no sickness or disease, no disfigurement of anyone, but only the love of a God that wants us to be in serenity, comfort, happiness, and fulfillment. God forgives all sin and the Kingdom of God has no sin. God loves us all; he gave up his own son for all our sins. That is the kind of love that is everlasting. “The Kingdom of God is like a man scattered seed on the land; he goes to bed at night and gets up in the morning, and the seed sprouts and grows—how, he does not know. The ground produces a crop by itself first the blade, then the ear, then the full grown crown in the ear; but as soon as the crop is ripe, he plies the sickle, because harvest
