What has already been done to the sea in the past 200 years since a real need for food began has been quite a drastic increase in negative impacts caused mainly by a lack of understanding of our power to quickly change large parts of this world. Let’s begin with a short history of the sea. As the Earth cooled, liquid vapors rose from beneath the crust and formed great clouds of gases that would have covered much of the surface. When these clouds became heavy enough to form liquid they flowed to the lower points of the Earth and thus became an ocean. Water, being a factor of utmost importance to the way that life on this planet has evolved and, oxygen, being a part of what forms water, were both in abundance in this great gathering of liquids that became the quickest way for life to evolve from bacteria to organism to creature.
