THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGICAL IMPROVEMENTS ON BUSINESS Earth is such a place that everything changes incessantly. Nothing is left as the same as the first form of it. Communication among people is also altered by the improvements in technology. We can count pictograms, drawing symbols to explain something, smoke signals,used by American Indians to deliver short messages, homing pigeons and language in the earliest forms of communication. (Cramer,2009) Another hoary type of communication is writing. In the past times people write on to the stone pillars, then papyrus was found and it was a facilitating material because stones were so heavy to carry. Governments create some ways to travel a written message from one place to another. One of these ways was to send men with horses to move these messages. To accelerate the delivery they improved the roads. Another way was using pigeons. People developed homing pigeons by selectively breeding them and used them to carry messages across places. After that printing is developed. These developments were followed by the enhancement of mailing, includes letters and telegraphs, telephone, radio, television and computer. As the time passes, everything continues to enhance. For example, in the ancient times people can not even think about a home phone, yet in the contemporary world almost every people have own cell phone and can make video callings or multiple calls which were inconceivable in the past. Face to face conversations are dated now, instead people use networking and keep in touch with everyone they want wherever they are by using internet. Internet is the milestone of the improvements in communication technology.
