Work-place physical environment has a tremendous impact on job satisfaction and stress level of workers. In this matter, this issue has been investigated by many industries. Like other industries, the healthcare industry has also taken interest in this issue. Several factors have come to play in an attempt by healthcare organization to enhance nurses’ satisfaction. One of the indicators that have been considered, and which has been found to have a significant impact on decreasing nurses stress level is the physical environment around the healthcare facility, most especially in relation to the design.
