By the developing of information industry, the impact of globalization is the trend of time that no one can escape from it. In cities like Beijing and Xi’an; hundreds of century-old Chinese-style houses are being demolished to make room for those skyscrapers and shopping malls. Nowadays international metropolis like Shanghai or Hong Kong hardly has difference to New York. When feel delighted because the developing of Chinese economy, I also worry about the impact on Chinese values by globalization. Premier Zhou used to say that we should seek common ground while reserving differences. There’s no doubt that the trend of globalization can’t be reversed, but must we sacrifice our Chinese values to it? Japan has been learning from western culture since meiji restoration, and it has already been one of modernist developed countries in this world. The politeness of Japanese is famous in the world, their series and strict spirits is also admired by people all around the world. But few people remember that these excellent values are all originate in China. Why? Let me tell you another thing. Several months ago, a girl in Sichuan province wear hanfu and go out for shopping, many university students force her to take off it because they think it is hefu.
