All she had done was take a few classes at Northwestern for a few months. Claire believes the handwriting is definitely that of her father. And although she thinks Catherina is like her father in more than a couple of ways, she has a hard time believing that Catherine could have come up with something as complex as this proof. Harold “Hal” Dobbs is the character I chose to focus on. The most important fact about Hal is that he is not a genius.
The ride home was a time where I really began to understand Mikayla, her father, and where she comes from. Without his truck, I would have never been able to reach this level of understanding of my girlfriend. It helped Mikayla and I reach a new level on our relationship. Now, I have seen her at her worst, and things can only get better from here. In all I’ve spent about 10 hours riding in his truck, just listening to him talk about his life and what he thinks about my relationship with his daughter.
Through this, Haddon is explaining how autistic people have certain talents or hobbies that they are experts in. In this case, Haddon illustrates Christopher as an expert in mathematics. Christopher also has a photographic memory that he uses continually throughout the book. When Christopher runs away from home in attempt to find his mother, he has no information on how to find her except for his memory of reading her current address on a letter. During all the excitement that Christopher runs into, he doesn’t forget his mother address; his memory can visualize the letter and the address on it.

One of the jobs as a receptionist in a hair salon and the other in a local college campus office. Both parents have a high school diploma. The son recently graduated from Albany college with a degree in communications.
Family Demographics The H family is an extended family consisting of grandparents raising their grandson. GH is the grandmother she is 59 and currently disable from back surgery, she has an unsteady gait and ambulate with a cane. The only other medical history she has is hypertension, which is control by medication but has constant pain from her back. She possesses a college degree and worked as a paralegal in a law firm prior to becoming disable that forced her into early retirement and currently a homemaker. KH is the grandfather he is 60-year-old, self-employed, and retired from the United States Army.

I love well written books that I can visualize with as I am reading. I love an author that can use words and phrases to keep me guessing throughout the book, it gives me the urge to want to know what is going to happen next. I want to keep reading to get to the end to fully understand what the author’s purpose is.
