Although Longtree initially is portrayed as a villain/bad guy he soon after has a reformation. Longtree’s reformation encourages him to gain a sense of integrity and morality. His reformation is caused by his love for Elsa and his respect for Steve. Shockingly, Longtree reforms before his deceptive partner Gil. His aspiration to be a good guy is an ethical aspect.
The novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee shows that honor is a prominent characteristic in a person. Atticus Finch is honorable because, raises his children with a strong set of values, he gets himself into something he knows is not going to turn out good but still tries his hardest, , and isn’t willing to cover anything up to take the easy way out. In the novel, Sir Atticus Finch is an honorable character and shows this by the way he raises his children. Atticus is Scout’s, the protagonist, and Jem’s father. Atticus tries to teach his children to vision yourself in the other person’s shoes before judging them.
This is shown in the novel when Bridget says “ I looked at Menzies digging next to me, I was so proud of us how far we had come…” this is inclusive language because I shows that hse is more accepting. Another example of growing up in the novel is through the character called Menzies. At the start of the novel Menzies work in secret communicating with Jamal and Bibi, He is very lonely as his father is too busy for him. He grows up and through his friendship with Bridget he learns to be learns to be more outspoken and speaks directly to his father about his personal passion helping refugees. This is shown in the novel when Menzies speaks to his father which he overcomes his fear of his father and says to him “This is important to me dad...
He also became a better man at home with his family. John had accepted and realized that it was his sickness of Schizophrenia. He deserved to win the award at the end because he didn’t let his sickness get him down. He continued on and accepted it and fought to regain his life
It also indicates to the audience the personality of Hubert as a character, as he seems to have much love for his family as he is helping to provide for them, but also he is shown to be a encouraging character who fights to make a positive impact to the lives of himself and his peers. This can be seen in his body language when he talks about the gym that he fought for had been destroyed because of the banlieue and the rioters. However this differs from the personalities of Vinz and Saїd who seem to accept the view that they will never escape the banlieue by trying to project the image of masculinity and violence as a way to stand against the police and authority as a
Jack definitely believes that rules are necessary in a community and that men must follow the rules. Merridew has friends. He is supportive and helpful: "At the return Ralph found himself alone on a limb with Jack and they grinned at each other, sharing this burden" (38). Jack knew the importance of friendship and teamwork. He loved helping Ralph and his wish was to make this island like a home for the boys.
I think Atticus is a good model for an ideal parent because he caring, shows great courage throughout the book. Also I think he's a good father because he always wanted the best for his kids. Atticus was a good father to jem and scout, mainly because he had to be. As an only parent, Atticus had all the responsibility to look after his children and raise them well. He taught them some of life's valuable lessons and morals to go by.
The acting was a little lacking, but the story was magnificent and shined light on an issue that needs to be fixed. In addition, I like that Mr. Xu’s boss and comrade was so dedicated to proving him to be a good father that even after he saw compelling evidence towards the abuse theory, he pursued his morals and tried to find out about Gua Sha. I’m glad we got to see this, because as English-Mandarin speakers we’re somewhat of a buffer between the quarrels of cultures and who knows: maybe in the future we’ll dissolve some sort of conflict similar to
Furthermore, they made their own good men image through each artificial character. Even if john’s artificial brother did bad things, he addressed all problems without any discontents. Algernon always looks after his poor and weak friend, ‘Bunbury’. ‘Gwendlen Fairfax’ and ‘Cecily Cardew’ are also very interesting characters we should pay attention to. Both want to marry someone named Earnest.
The traits that would be detrimental to Woodside would be being permissive and lack of guidance. Woodside showed that he is permissive because he was covering the mistakes and even staying late to cover the mistakes of others. He showed lack of guidance because he was unable to help George with his business and personal problems. I think that Woodside showed that he possessed both types of leadership traits. There is no doubt that he is a people-oriented leader by getting along with his colleagues and had developed trust with all of his subordinates.
