Whereas in America we have one last name and when a woman gets married it changes to her husband’s last name. La Siesta. In the early hours of the afternoon, when the intense heat of the sun discourages physical activity, people take a rest period, la siesta. Business people shut their doors at about one o'clock and go home to eat lunch with their families. Lunch is the biggest meal of the day and a time for the family to gather together.
Open campus can give them the opportunity to leave for their lunch period to recoup. Also, if it’s a great day outside students could take the time to eat outside somewhere or go for a walk. Sure students can eat at the tables outside but there still not getting away from the camp grounds. I recognize that people think students will take advantage of this privilege however I think that if this privilege was given students would fight the
So when I started my shift we got ready and set off for the bus. The service user A was saying how happy she was that I was taking her to town. As she is a wheel chair user, I repeated what she had said as it was difficult to hear as I was stood behind her and she also has speech problems so isn't always coherent. While on the bus service user A was talking about the up and coming holiday and saying how excited she was about it . At this time I'm in front of her and it makes it a little easier to understand her but I still repeat everything she says to me as the noise on the bus can still make it a bit difficult to understand her.
europe8th of April was probably one of those days in 20 kids lives that they will never forget, as we all set off for Europe! After 36 hours with stop over’s in Hong Kong and Helsinki we finally reached Berlin Airport tired although newly invigorated and pumped for the excursion. In Berlin we visited some of the Nazi concentration camps, the site of the 1936 Olympic Games and perhaps the most highly anticipated, The Berlin Wall. ‘Public Apologies’ on the tour bus from those who were late then became the norm and continued throughout the entirety of the trip which kept everyone in high spirits. When in transit to Prague, with a quick stop over in Dresden, other games were formulated to pass the time, including get-to-know-you and secret admirer

I knew it was going to be a hot day because at eight in the morning it was already unbearable to sit in the car. I was going to Detroit to watch my first Tigers game, and it was a day I would never forget. When I was five years old my family moved from a house in the city, to a house in the country with a big yard. The front yard is a little bigger than a football field and is perfect for kids playing sports. I also have four brothers and two
I was mentally and emotionally exhausted. I reached for my cell to check the time and realized I miss a call from one of my co-workers. I phoned her back and she informed me she was two blocks away at restaurant enjoying happy-hour and invited me to join her. This wasn’t planned but why not, I had a lot to talk about and wanted to release myself from observing and analyzing. I walked to the restaurant and noticed my co-worker sitting outside at a table on the restaurant patio next to the busy sidewalk.

The three men got up without question, but Rosa did not. Rosa would not move, she was quoted about the situation and said “It meant that I didn’t have a right to do anything but get on the bus, give them my fare and then be pushed around wherever they wanted me.” (Friese 53)The bus driver then asked her if she was going to move and she replied saying no.
