The Persian Empire, for example, began in the Achaemenid dynasty with Cyrus the Great. After the Achaemenid dynasty was the Seleucids, then the Parthians, and ended with the Sasanids. Similarly, Han China was separated into two major time periods, The Former Han, and The Later Han dynasties. the reason that both empires went through dynastic periods was because of invasion and decline. In Han China, there is a period between The Former Han, and The Later Han dynasties that another family takes imperial power.
The Shang, Zhou, Qin, and Han dynasties The Shang dynasty was founded in 1600BC. It was the second hereditary dynasty in China. Shang was originally considered a myth, until they were discovered because the Chinese pharmacists sold oracle bones created by them as dragon bones. This dynasty marked the beginning of the development of writing. In addition to the development of writing, Iron casting and pottery were also advanced in Shang.

Ming China/Dynasty The Ming Dynasty was the last native Chinese dynasty. It was the ruling dynasty of China from 1368 to 1644. (Wikipedia 1) The Ming was described as being “one of the greatest eras of orderly government and social stability in human history”. (Wikipedia 1) It was also the last dynasty to be ruled by ethnic Han Chinese. The Ming began with the overthrow of the hated Mongols, who ruled China for one hundred years.
Both empires allowed their citizens to contribute to the empire; however, they did so by different means. Emperor Augustus of Imperial Rome, after declaring himself as emperor, allowed for the senate to exist, therefore giving citizens more opportunities to obtain senatorial and office positions. This might have occurred because Augustus’s government was a monarchy disguised as a republic. All citizens except for foreigners and women could obtain political positions in Imperial Rome. Citizens in Han China could only contribute to the empire by becoming a bureaucrat, however, this positions was very limited and was open only to Confucian Scholars.

There were three major dynasties which helped to build the Great Wall. First was the Qin Dynasty. In 221 B.C. Qin Shihuang unified all of China and established the Qin Dynasty.
In 1925, after Sun Yat-sen’s death, Chiang Kai-shek took over the nationalist and realized the communist were getting stronger. He thought with his followers that the communist would take their power and wealth. In 1927, the warlord era ended, and Chiang turned his back on the communist. Many communist leaders were killed and imprisoned. Mao Zedong escaped imprisonment and helps rebuild a stronger communist party in China.
In the 2nd century AD, the Chinese imperial government recognized Laozi, an ancient Chinese philosopher, as a divine being. Laozi played a critical role in the rise of Taoism. It became established in Malaysia, Singapore, multiple Chinese diaspora communities within Asia, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam. Before the Communist revolution, Taoism was one of the strongest religions in China. These Sages, who were given “Zi” at the end of their names, went around the kingdoms, explaining to the ruler what they thought the best solution was for uniting China. The most prominent ideas were usually any of the three sects, Daoist, Confucianist or Legalist. Daoism was based on the ideas of Laozi and Zhuangzi, Confucianism on those of Confucius (Kongzi) and Mencius (Mengzi), and Legalism on those of Han Feizi. Confucianism was not adopted in Confucius’ life time. It developed later,
China is using the one-party system since it established in 1949. The Chinese Communist Party is the ruling party with absolute political authority within the state. Before China’s open-up, Chinese Communist Party was own highly control over society, politics, economy and ideology of the state. The Chinese communist Party fight with Japan in WW2 and replaced the Kuomintang (KMT) to become the ruling party of China. Stability and order is important for any country, especially in China.
