Rocks cover almost half of Oman. Rocks have formed different terrain and it has many sections.
There are three sections of rocks and all of them found in Oman. There are: igneous rocks, sedimentary rocks and metamorphic rocks. Within these sections, the rocks are classified more specifically by composition: the igneous rocks include volcanic rocks, extrusive and intrusive rocks, the sedimentary rocks include clastic, biogenic and chemical rocks, and the metamorphic rocks include non-foliated.
This report will look at the sections of rocks in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar. It will focus on the rock types that can be found in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar. It will find factors affecting the types of rocks; the information will help science students to know more about Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar rocks.
This report provides a review of sections of rocks in Al Jabal Al Akhdar and this kind of information can help science students to get types of rocks easily through their research.
In my report I research about information by reading from two types of sources, which are: websites and books.
From the books i got information about the sections of rock are in Aljabal Alakhdar, and from the website’s i found the factors affecting the types of rock.
