There is many men and creatures in the lovely tale of the Golden Compass, however, there is only two in which Lyra is fascinated with. In the way that one is her real father of whom she never knew was, and there is the passoinate father to her, who is loving and caring towards her. These are examples of contrast between the two of Lyra's father figures. The likenesses between them are in different ways intriguing........... Where Lord Asriel is strong in the way that he is a role with lots of power and is highly respected, Iorek is physically strong, and has capability to do many things a only a very high fitness level could achieve , he is also strong inside,in the way that he has the strength to go on through tough situations, for example, when he lost Lyra when she fell out of and give it all in battles; he is mentally strong. Lord Asriel may be strong, and Iorek may be too,but none can compare to how brave and strong Lyra was in this heartwarming tale.

Moreover, Ritchie tried to put violent scenes as much as possible; therefore, the film was just about how Arthur created a series of ambushes against Vortigern and had to prove himself as a last direct descendant of King Uther who had the right to own the sword. For the original story, Kay, who had just been knighted, went to London to join a tournament to decide who the new king was. Kay brought Arthur as his master. The first day of the tournament, in a hurry to make it on time, Arthur forgot Kay's sword in the hotel room. Kay ordered Arthur to take it fast.

A person such as George cannot be compared to anyone. George is revealed as the father of Harrison Bergeron and the husband of Hazel Bergeron. He was an intelligent man with a handicap. “And George, while his intelligence was way above normal, had a little mental handicap radio in his ear.” The examples show that he is a man that has a handicap but is still and intelligent person even thought he had something holding him back. George changed because he tried to fight the transmitter but couldn’t; he tried to think about the ballerinas.
This builds up a snobbish character, since he wants everyone to know that he has achieved a grand position in Lady Catherine’s De Bourgh live. Furthermore, his father “had given him great humility of manner” (p.130), as “the greatest part of his life [has] been spent under the guidance of an illiterate and miserly father”. (pg.130) Though, by the time he had the chance to be near to Lady Catherine’s side he changed and become too proud and continually arrogant of himself. Moreover, one can see that Mr. Collins has a high regard for himself since, he considers that he is “more fitted by education and habitual study” (p.182) and also the fact that he introduces himself to Mr. Darcy, with the pretending reason that he knows his aunt Lady Catherine, and believes that he would pay attention at him after the warnings of Ms. Elizabeth Bennet as it was inappropriate to present yourself to an unknown person unless a mutual friend introduces you makes him a foolish and too proud for himself. However, Mr. Darcy “was eyeing him with unrestrained wonder” (p.182)Similarly, Austen manages to make Mr. Collins a ridiculous character once more, since Elizabeth rejects his proposal by saying that he “could never make [her] happy” and that she is “convinced that she is the last woman in the world who would make [him] happy” (p.200).
All the kings’ sons gather to his deathbed to discover who will be his successor when he tells them he doesn’t know. The way for one of the 3 remaining (they kind of kill each other by pushing one another out windows, by sword, not gory, still kids movie) that the true king will have to find the crystal and whoever turns it into a ruby will be the actual King. You can tell the complications very well within the first few minutes. The early parts were well written and directed as basically straight away we knew what was going on. Many movies keep their audience on the edge clueless so this portrayal of Tristan’s father and mother was well directed.
Okwonko had many accomplishments as a young adult and it led him to his success and became very superior in every aspect of his life. Although Okwonko was very superior, he feared weakness and failure, which led him to treat members of his family insensitively. His son, Nwoye was not normal or desirable physically or mentally.
