Conflict Management Resolution in Business Institutional Name Course Date Conflict may arise in many ways in a business organization. This is because in such a place, there is more than one person involved and conflict may come up at any given time. Conflict is a situation where there are differences among individuals in organizations. It can be caused in several ways such ranging from differences in philosophy and divergence of goals to different weights of power. In such situations, it would be very important to control and manage these different conflicts to ensure there is a success of the business as conflicts may result to a downfall of an organization. Conflict resolution management is the use of different identified ways and processes of facilitating or encouraging peace and ending conflicts between different individuals in organizations. Most active staff members always attempt to bring an end to conflicts by discussing and giving information on the reasons for holding such conflicts in these work environments. They use different ways such s negotiation, compromising, emotional resolution and even use of authority to control such conflicts. Therefore, this paper will try to look at these different skills that can be used to ensure there is a long-term end to any form of conflict that arises in organizations. Conflict resolution has concerns with dimensions of having concern personal view and self and also having some concern for others or empathizing with them. There are various styles strategies that can be used t resolve conflict in different situations. The first method is accommodating which is also referred to as yielding style. Mayer, Bernard (2012) argues that this is applicable in a situation where one conflicting party wants to maintain a good relationship with the other conflicting party.
