Write an essay about the development of modern technology. In your essay, compare and contrast the development that still remain in rural areas and the changes that transform into a bustling city. Nowadays, the development of modern technology has grown by leaps and bounds. Nonetheless, only urban areas are focussing here, some rural states are still remaining in the 90’s pace. How far does the development of modern technology deepen the gap between rural and urban areas? First, the advance technology has benefit people in transportation. Urban residents enjoy the privilege to go to a destination with more options. Public transports such as Light Rail Transit (LRT), Electric train Service (ETS), KLIA transit, aeroplane are only available in urban areas. In additional to that, ETS is only serve in west coast area of Peninsular Malaysia. This, indeed carry a lot of convenient to residents there. Imagined one from Negeri Sembilan wanted to go Berjaya Time Square. He takes ETS from Seremban to KL central, and then take monorail to Imbi will sent him directly to the entrance door of shopping mall Berjaya Time Square. What will happen if the destination is Mesra Mall in Kerteh, Terengganu? Its either by car or by shuttle bus that comes hourly. Hoping for taxi? Taxi is not common is rural areas, therefore it’s not encourages. Next, urban areas offer a comprehensive medical services, which in contradict to rural areas. Rural areas might not be offering such extended services due to combined factors. There are low population density, which then result in low demand. Additionally, lack of certified medical personnel is another factor that contributes. Therefore, in order to go through certain treatments and diagnosis with advance medical technology, one must travel to urban city nearest to them.
