A Quality Education Gina Kenski Liberty University APA Abstract “ The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction”, ( Proverbs 1:7 ). Education is in general, knowledge and skills passed from one generation to the next ( Websters’ ). Is it possible that each individual can determine their own quality of education? Perhaps, if each person can follow Biblical principle and be passionate about their goal. Introduction “In general education is a form of learning in which knowledge, skills, and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training or research” ( Websters ). How do we get a quality education? The quality of an education depends on the person and their passion behind what they are pursuing. If you are passionate about what you are doing then consider yourself well educated. I remember from the very first day I started school that really I hated it. My parents would drive me to school in Kindergarten and literally have to drag me out of the car crying, kicking, and screaming. A few hours later I would wake up at my desk with my eyes all puffy. I think I hated it because we changed schools a lot and there was no stability or consistency in my life. I remember being at three different elementary schools from age five to twelve and just being very insecure and scared. As I got older the kicking and screaming was no longer a part of my morning routine. From third grade and up I started to excel in my school work, as in getting A’s and B’s, being in the spelling, and being on the academic team. When I made it to high school, there was such a heavy, negative influence there that gave me a bad attitude and exposure to drugs. By the tenth grade my parents had sent me to a private Christian school in Dawsonville, Georgia. The classrooms
