The Conker Stereotypes

After the awesomeness that was Banjo-Tooie, Rare had a problem, "Everything on the platforming market is so kid-friendly!" So, Chris Seavor, decided to head the team of the Conker game, originally called ''Twelve Tales: Conker 64'' and remake the game as a crude, crass, vulgar game filled with toilet humor, sex jokes, bloody violence and film parodies that are still hilarious every time i play it. Well, most of this review will not be pretty and only shower a pinch of praise on it wherever necessary. Like the average platformer, Conker has relatively simple gameplay. These platformers have you completing tasks, finding items, getting from point A to point B, or a combination of the three. Conker, on the other hand, uses a surprisingly simple…show more content…
For the most part, the characters in this game really aren't anything special. And i only say that because of how underdeveloped they are. The mast majority of characters in this game only get a few seconds of screen time before their gone forever. The Professor is a very well developed antagonist and is one of the only characters in the game that consistently made me laugh; what with his thick accent and comedic dialogue. Berri is a very independent and intelligent woman...squirrel...whatever. And finally, we come to Conker himself. He's not your simple classic protagonist, but he is a very well developed character. His characterization is best brought by his ending monologue; through all the thick layers of greed, drunkenness and lust, Conker is but a man, and throughout the whole game, he was searching for more, for everything that he truly wanted, is what he already had. Final verdict: the main characters are well made, but the supporting characters got really annoying really
