The American Dream

The American dream. What is it? Can we achieve it? Is it possible to attain the American dream? The American dream gives hope to many people. Many, imagine of accomplish the American dream. People chase after it and do whatever possible to make it a reality. So is the American dream real or just fantasy?
To know whether the American dream exists or not we must first have an under standing of what the American dream really is. For the most part the American dream can be separated into two major categorizes. To many people the American dream is a nice house with a white picket fence and a family. This is the traditional version of the American dream. When someone asks what is the American dream this is the first thing you think. However there are many renditions to the American dream. Everyone’s American dream is different. Someone may want fame and fortune while others may want the house with the white picket fence.
Everyone’s American dream is different. But if theirs something that we all have in common it’s that we all have a dream that we’re chasing after.  It’s something that we want or something that we need to believe in just to keep us going. Regrettably most times it stays just as something we chase after but never end up achieving. However it dose give us hope for a better tomorrow. It gives you hope into thinking that something better will come and that you can change your life for the better.  Disappointingly it is only false hope.
The chances of any one attaining the American dream are slim to none, for mainly two reasons. Most times it’s because the life that has been dreamed up is extremely unrealistic and there is no chance of ever being able to accomplish it. The other reason is because we are never satisfied with what we have. If we have achieved our dream then we dream up something else, something more. We always thirst for more.
