Main stage-4 November 14, 2012 The Addams Family When the Addams family makes their way to the graveyard for their annual gathering of all family members, (dead, living, etc.) while celebrating their family. (When you’re an Addams) Uncle Fester stops the ancestors from returning to their grave to enlist their help. Fester tells them that Wednesday is seeing a “normal” boy. Wednesday invites her boyfriend Lucas Beineke, and his parents, Mal and Alice, to dinner. Wednesday admits to Pugsly that love is pulling her in a new direction ("Pulled"). Wednesday leaves her parents, Morticia and Gomez worrying about her changing ways ("Where Did We Go Wrong"). Wednesday begs her un-normal family to have one normal night when the Beinkes come for dinner. Tensions arise from the very beginning. The biggest shocker to the family was Wednesday’s apparel, after 18 years of wearing black, Wednesday appears in a bright yellow dress. Pugsley is worried that he will lose Wednesday, that would mean no more torturing. He steals a potion from his grandmother, who may not be, that will show a person’s evil nature. He plans to slip the potion into Wednesdays drink at dinner (“What If?”). At dinner Morticia and Gomez insist that they play “The Game”, the rule of the game is that each person confesses something (“Full Disclosure”). During the game Uncle Fester admits his undying love for the moon. In a mix up, Alice accidentally drinks Pugsley’s potion and says that her marriage to Mal is a loveless mess and states how miserable she is (“Waiting”). During the chaos Wednesday announces that she and Lucas are engaged. Uncle Fester, trying to help, tells the ancestors to create a storm that traps everyone in the mansion. (“Full Disclosure” Part 2) Wednesday wants to leave during the storm but, Lucas wants to work things out with the families. Uncle Fester plays the ukulele
