The 63 building is a Skyscraper located in Seoul, South Korea. It was built in 1980 and opened in 1985. It was designed by an American architectural company called Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). It is famous because it was the highest building in Asia around that time. It is still considered the highest building in Korea today. It is located on Yeouido island overlooking the Han River and it is 264 meters high. The best time to see the beautiful view of the building is at sunset. It is called the golden tower because it Reflects the sun's rays giving it a wonderful view. 63 refers to the building's 63 official stories , of which 60 are above ground level and 3 are basement floors. The basement floors Contain an aquarium ( sea world ) and it is the largest sea world in Seoul. Majority of the floors are company offices. It also has an IMAX Theater ( A huge movie theater ) that is ten times larger than a normal cinema. The screen is seven floors high. There is a spa, restaurants, shopping stores, a hotel ,wax museum, computer games SimCity located on different floors. The last floor of the building consists of an open area for visitors to see the whole city of Seoul. Koreans believe that if you hold your breath and make a wish while the elevator is moving from the first floor too the last your wish will come true. It's an eye-catching ,multi-purpose, ground breaking, impressive and really modern building . There are many places to visit near the 63 building such as : Han River, Seoul color park, Seoul fountains and Namdaemun market. We enjoyed our trip to the 63 building because it's a perfect place to have a lot of fun with your friends and your family. It's a great experience and an amazing place to visit. So, don't miss
