Imagine attending a school full of many intelligent students who just don’t care. At the beginning of the year students start breaking small rules like texting in class and dress code. As the year progresses students start breaking bigger rules like fighting. Recently the students just broke an enormous rule; the food fight. I’ve noticed that Heath has a negative climate, and the 8th graders are going to change it. I have a plan that includes changing myself, with my friends, and school wide changes. To start off my plan I need to adjust myself. I can adjust myself by not texting in class. If I stop texting I will pay more attention and stop distracting others. I think my friends and I should help everyone, whether they’re new or just at a loss. Another way is to clean the lunchroom after we get done eating! This would help out our janitors, and after that we could get some students together to clean the whole campus. My final way of adapting with my friends is to talk to 6th and 7th graders about changing and helping out. If everyone pitches in it will make a difference. Adjusting with my friends includes helping other students, cleaning the school, and talking to 6th and 7th graders. To finalize my plan, we to make some school wide changes. Heath has many tardies and that’s a colossal problem. Next, we can treat substitutes with respect. If we could do this Heath’s reputation would be much better! For the end of my plan I want all of the students to have good grades. It would be great if they could have at least an A, B, or C. As a whole, Heath Middle School would look better if we had no more tardies, treat substitutes with respect, and all students need to get good grades. Heath Middle School presents many fixable disputes and the 8th graders want to change it. This plan includes changing myself, with friends, and school wide changes.
