When it comes to college life, people think about freedom. That is, college life is totally differs from high school life. In addition, when we enter a college, it means that we have a whole new life style. We do not need to wear uniform regularly. We do not worry about staying at school from the morning to the afternoon. Especially, when we are college students, we always think that we are enough to grow up and allow us to do anything like an adult. Therefore, it may let us face more temptations. The goal of this essay is clarify how the temptations affect on students’ life and the consequences. The first temptation that college students usually face is drinking. In fact, almost college students have a lot of free time, so they can be easy to feel bored and drinking is one of the usual ways to entertain themselves. My classmates are a symbolic example. They like to drink a lot and are willing to drink anytime, even when they feel happy, sad, or just only get a good mark; they are always ready to be a drunk. Furthermore, they also give a lot of reasons to justify themselves about their alcoholic addiction. One of them told me that drinking can make them more comfortable and can quickly reduce their difficult feelings. Human greed is unlimited and students are not an exception. They are attracted by the power of money. They like owning a lot of money to spend without considering, and you know, gambling can satisfy their needs. It leads to the second temptation that students have to face is gambling. The next example is my brother’s friend. His name is Duy. He is completely tempted by gambling. In addition, he spends a lot of money, even his tuition to gamble. Moreover, he can take his motorbike, laptop, everything that he can mortgage to loan office when he loses.
