To be a teenager is to be in a time of fluctuation and more often than not in western society, a time of rebellion. There are certain rituals that take place during the teens such as socializing with friends in a place other than school, more responsibilities around the house and less juvenile relationships with members of the opposite sex. Biologically teenagers change dramatically, with girls usually starting their periods and maturing into a phase where their bodies get ready to have children whereas boys develop facial hair, their voices deepen and other matters. They also become more aware of themselves sexually and it is this period in which most people are experimental with their sexuality as well as drugs and their own personal style. In today’s modern and fast paced society, teenagers have had to rush through life and begin adulthood earlier than the generations before.

So I have to persuade teenagers by starting with a story and I want them know have knowledge about social media. And they will know when to use their time to socialize, know how to keep them self-safe from bullying and if they are the bullying, they will stop bullying others. For parents, they always think that social media is a bad thing but after having knowledge about it, they will stop thinking negative thoughts and teach their kids about things that are positive and negative and they will even have fun time doing social media with their family. by Poppy Smith, Peggy Altig, a family counselor, summarizes this familiar struggle, "Learning to be a separate person is the main task of young adulthood, becoming equal rather than being under the parent's dominance." These words would have been extremely useful for Christopher McCandless and his parents to ease the though this difficult process. Billie and Walt McCandless should have allowed Christopher to make his own decisions and go through the process of becoming an adult. If Chris would have had the space to do as he liked being a twenty two year old young adult, his and his parents relationship would have been existent and Chris would not have been driven into the wild. Providing a clear and precise curriculum in sex education focussed on career goals, sexually transmitted diseases, healthy relationships, the results of being a young parent, and facts on contraceptives would be most beneficial. Educating minors on how sexual activity at a young age can drastically change their lives would greatly impact the reduction of teen pregnancy. Teen pregnancy proceeds as a major issue with more than half of all teenagers in the United States stating that they had participated in sexual intercourse at least one point before high school ended.
