However, while the French were the first to use a gas against an enemy, the Germans had been giving a great deal of thought to the use of poison gas as a way of defeating enemy. The First World War One has invented new weapons to support the front and improve the ability of killing the enemies. Among these, poison gas may be the most terrible fear of all the soldiers. It could be used on the trenches even if no attack was going on. The gas cylinders were simply placed on the front line and in front of the enemy.
Some say that the soldiers' immune systems were weakened by malnourishment. The influenza pandemic circled the globe. Most All of these illnesses were the main cause of torture that the soldiers of World War I had to go through and were mainly caused by the life in the trenches. Trench foot and Trench fever were something more usual in the life of war. Unlike The Spanish influenza, which had more serious side effects.

August 6th 1945, World War 2 is coming to an end, but the Japanese are still fighting the war in the pacific. The US decides that the best way to end this war is for "the Enola Gay B-29 bomber to take flight. "(Hawthorne 1). Aboard this flight is what is going to be known as the world’s first ever atomic bomb used in war, the bomb's "code name was 'little boy'" and was targeting the city of Hiroshima, Japan (Hawthorne 1). This bomb is going to cause unprecedented destruction designed to break the will of the Japanese.
