Roads and irrigation canals were also built throughout the country. One of the most famous discoveries in the world was found at the emperor's burial site - An extensive Terra Cotta army was found.
As a fan of history for my discussion topic I naturally choose the Lincoln Memorial, a person whom I admire very much. The Lincoln Memorial has various shades of neoclassical architecture in its design. It is a American Icon and symbol of our freedom. Henry Bacon was the key architect of the statue which began construction in 1912 and was officially finished in 1922.

Caterina Maria Romula de Medici was born on April 13, 1519. Lorenzo II de Medici, Duke of Urbino,*[1] died six days after her birth from syphilis and tuberculosis. Her mother, Madeleine de La Tour d’Auvergne, the daughter of a royal princess, passed away of complications 15 days after her birth. Orphaned, but quite valuable due to her royal blood and inheritance, Catherine was a central figure for control of the papacy and the throne. The Medici’s through careful marriage matches and taking control of the financial banking[2], rose to power as papal bankers after the Black Plague in 1348-49.

(Mondragon 1997) This is the first reference to her disease within "The Masque of the Red Death" where Poe states, "Blood was its Avatar and its seal-the redness and horror of blood." (Poe 1842) Virginia’s affliction with this disease was not the first time Poe dealt with tuberculosis within his family. Both his mother and father died of consumption when he was just a little boy. (Mondragon 1997) He knew the tell-tale traces of blood upon Virginia’s lips began a new chapter of horror in his life.
