Jack Mezzadri 9/18/11 SPBHS I would survive the twenty-four hours on the island. I would survive by using the natural resources of the island. For food I would eat local fruits and berries. I would use camouflage to stay hidden from my pursuer. I would not sleep because it will give my pursuer a chance to discover my location. I’ll always keep moving I wont stay in one location for more then thirty minutes. I’m going to try to be as stealthy as possible so my pursuer does not hear me, capture me and kill me. Unless it becomes necessary I will not drink because it is not necessary for me to survive the next twenty-four hours. To avoid my captor I will be very stealthy, move constantly and quickly and blend in with bushes and the ground so I am not seen by my captor. I will cover my face in mud to blend in at night with the ground and I can even blend in with some bushes that I hide in. I will always keep moving so it will be more difficult for my captor to find me. I must not stay in one place for a long time otherwise it will be easier to be captured. I will hide in trees so it will be more difficult for my captor to see me and capture me. I need to be as stealthy as possible so my pursuer does not hear me and discover where I am hiding. i will cover myself with sticks and twigs and lay immobile on the ground so it looks like I’m nothing. As for food I will eat local fruits and berries such as mangos, bananas and coconuts. I only have to survive twenty-four hours so I will not need any drinks but if it becomes so necessary that I need a drink then I will drink the milk of a coconut. I will not go to sleep because if I do sleep even if it is a good place where I am hiding I know I will definitely be captured and killed. Part 2- Receding-to move back or away.
