1.0 INTRODUCTION The Art of War is one of the oldest books which are written by Sun Tzu, yet it is still used today. It was originally called the Sun Tzu Bing Fa, or simply the Sun Tzu and it composed of 13 chapters, explaining the aspects of warfare. A series of strategies initially was written for the use of military and presents a philosophy of war for managing conflicts and winning battles but the lessons also can be applied to almost any area of our life where conflict is involved, for example in finance and business. The book is not only popular among military theorists, but it has also become increasingly popular among political leaders and those in business management and had been translate to Japanese, English, French, German, Russia and other languages. Sun Zi is also known as Sun Wu. Sun Wu is a citizen of Qi State. Sun Wu had born during the spring and autumn period. Sun Wu families names origin was not as Sun, was Tian. His Grandpa Tian Shu, who has been contributing many to his State Qi especially he always win in the war .So, the Qi Emperor awarded Tian Su to change their family name to Sun. Sun Wu had a great and well study environment to let him know more about history and story about military and war when he was young. Therefore, Sun Wu helped Qi Huang-Ti united all states in China with successful defeats the other four Emperors. However, most of the internal conflict within minister when Qi state prosperous had caused Sun Wu leave the Qi state and had isolated in the village within the Wu state for many years. Within the period of isolated, the book of “Sun Tzu Art of War” with 13 topics had completed by Sun Wu. Nowadays, business can describe as warfare because it is dynamic, fast-paced, and requires an effective and efficient use of scarce resources; modern executives have found value in Sun Tzu’s teachings.
