One summer night, I packed my backpack, impatient to leave home the next day so I could face a massive challenge: summer camp. A 13 days long spectacular but also daring route with the company of nearly 80 teenage girls, and personally responsible of a team, more precisely 15 girls. Supposedly, my mom drove me to the school the next morning where I met all the girls, and together we packed all we needed (including cooking utensils and plates) and then hopped in the bus and left for Kfardebian, enjoying this exciting ride! Arrived there, each team took a spot in the woods where they would sleep, cook and spend most of their time. And this is when this wonderful course began ! We experienced many tough days and cold nights.. But also several joyful times ! Particularly, I remember this one day when we had a color carnival , also known as Holi in India. We played, chased and coloured each other with dry powder and colored water. Finally, we all gathered in the middle of the field, carrying our dry powders, and then we closed our eyes and agreed that on the count of three, we would all jump and throw the colored powders, and at this very moment, it was like everything froze. Joy, laughter and love were all spread. And that is the picture that comes to my mind when I remember this exceptional camp. That journey taught me leadership, team building, hope, strength and courage, and various other simple delights I didn't know how to cherish and value. And that, dear reader, was the time of my life
