Death 5/29/12 On June 25, 2009, Jackson died while in his bed at his rented mansion at 100 North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills district of Los Angeles. The news spread quickly online, causing websites to slow down and crash from user overload. Death can come to someone that we are really close to, like our grandparents or if you're very unfortunate death can happen to your very own parents that have given life to you. Or sometimes people that we look up to, like celebrities. You can't be sure of it most of the time, and that makes it very difficult. What makes Janie so different from her peers is that she has the involuntary ability to witness others' dreams, that she calls a ‘curse’ from the beginning. Whenever someone falls asleep within a certain distance of Janie, she automatically becomes paralyzed and blinded, and is sucked into the other person’s dream. People within the dream she enters usually ask her for help, but she is unable to know what to do. To fund her college education she works in a nursing home. Not really knowing Miss Stubin, she realized that she was dead had died during the night. When Janie came into Miss Stubin’s room, they had said the she had left her a letter talking about the ‘curse’ that they both used to share. Stubin never told her any of this when she was alive, making Janie wondering why she did not tell her before. Even farther in the series in Fade she takes the job the Stubin had to help Captain Fran Komiski solve cases. This death helps the book keep going. In Fade she learns to communicate with Miss Stubin thought her dream, even after the death of Stubin she was still very helpful to Janie to learn about the power she had in her. The people that she could not help before, she is now trying to help with Miss Stubin to answer any questions she
