The Lab Report Assistant is simply a summary of the experiment’s questions, diagrams if needed, and data tables that should be addressed in a formal lab report. The intent is to facilitate students’ writing of lab reports by providing this information in an editable file which can be sent to an instructor. But did he fully understand how rocky the trail would be? According to Jim Gallien, “Livin’ in the bush ain’t no picnic” (Krakauer 5). These are words that McCandless seemed to take lightly. Having no control over what nature decided to do, Chris face several things that would have made anyone else give up on what it is they set out to do. First, a flood came, forcing him to leave his car behind.
Rocky Boy was not founded until 1912, many years after the ‘Indian wars’ were claimed, by our government, to be ended. Wounded Knee Creek in South Dakota, has been taught to history students since 1890, to have been the end of the’ Indian Wars.’ To have my students learn the facts and understand the truth of the history of this war, will be an invaluable lesson learned. And the evaluation of the effort put into reaching out to the students of Rocky Boy and hearing what they have to say and the communication between both groups will determine the success, or lack thereof, of this class. It is a goal of this class, for the North Carolina students to foster relationships with their counter parts at Rocky Boy and to determine to strive to avoid any semblance of ‘learned helplessness’ creeping into their lives, regardless how tough life may get. Conversely, it is my hope that the students from Rocky Boy will learn from their counter parts in North Carolina, that there is hope outside of the ‘reservation life.’ Communication is another goal of this class.

One of the polytechnic students then took the time to tell us that “even though this is a small river, you never know if there are loss rocks or slippery things in it and to be safe the best way to always cross a river is by getting a partner and hooking one arm between their back and their pack and holding on to their pack”, the polytechnic student told us that this would give both of us a stable balance, just in case one of us slipped or lost our footing the other person would be able to help the them. This is a skill that anyone planning on doing a tramp should know how to do therefore it was a relevant risk factor that we had to manage. A very important risk factor involving environment was the NZ Environmental Care Code. The NZ Environmental Care Code is very relevant to the 3 day tramp because as we learnt that a lot of people like to visit their rural,
In The Education of Little Tree the connection to nature is taught to Little Tree by Granpa and Granma. Living in the mountains, these Native Americans relied on nature to survive. The grandparents taught Little Tree the different signs provided by nature; they used these signs when planting and harvesting their crops. “If you lay a broom sedge crosswise on a watermelon and it just lays
Orcutt Academy’s dress code should become more lenient toward the issue of leggings. As it stands currently there is not a disclaiming that the wearing of leggings are prohibited. In the Orcutt Union School District handbook there is nothing written on whether or not legging are allowed or have restrictions against them. With this said, that means that any of the other school in the district are allowed to wear, which includes elementary and junior highs. The only reason there is a restriction against this clothing item is due to the administration .The final decision on how the dress code at our school is interpreted is dependent on the administrations opinions.
