It is important to keep a balance of the important things in one’s life otherwise, weaknesses can be developed that shadows over a person’s natural strength to prioritize. A balance of the important things in one’s life is what allows personal success to be achieved. Successfulness is the ability to seize new opportunities and explore new paths in life. Balance is the key to success because when there is balance in one’s life there is a cut back of stress, which makes room for the ability to thrive; and a person’s ability to thrive is what carries them to their personal success. To be successful is to understand what is important to you, to recognize your weaknesses without hiding behind them, to strive for balance as well as open new doors in life.
By being committed to your learning and to success. I think you shouldn’t let anyone make you doubt yourself. I think you shouldn’t hesitate what you can do always trust in your goals. If you trust that you can achieve your goal maybe you will maybe you won’t. At the end of the day you still tried and never gave up.
Things have to make sense in my own mind before I make a decision. Keirsey also states, “In their careers, Masterminds usually rise to positions of responsibility, for they work long and hard and are dedicated in their pursuit of goals, sparing neither their own time and effort nor that of their colleagues and employees. Problem-solving is highly stimulating to Masterminds, who love responding to tangled systems that require careful -1- sorting out. Ordinarily, they verbalize the positive and avoid comments of a negative nature; they are more interested in moving an organization forward than dwelling on mistakes of the past.” I agree with
This is needed and essential to our success but is dependent upon our ability to assimilate correct information. Accurate information is the most powerful tool of any officer or manager in this industry. To know where a job stands at any time is a necessity if we are to stay at the top of our profession. A source independent of any job is more likely to retain its objectivity. This empowers management to take as much corrective action as is needed.
I am neutral on my results of the future portion of the survey. Future-focused people are very driven, centered around objectives, and fond on making schedules. They have a reasonable thought of where they need to get in life and spend the present working towards accomplishing their objectives. I have future goals that I want to complete and spend every moment I have working towards completing it. Then again, I do not work as indicated by agendas and in order to start achieving my goals, I need to be highly motivated.
This competitive nature has only increased over time and is now transcending into everything we do in life. No matter what the task, if someone else is doing the same thing, humans have the urge to compete with them. Things such as getting the best grades, getting the best job, making the most money, people are always striving to be the best at what they’re doing. This competitive attitude is very important because without it, we would have nothing, no telephones, no lights, and no cars. People would be content with what they have and would have no desire to make something better.
Pat Riley once said, “Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better.” This is how I treat everyday. I want to become better at something every single day! Whether it’s becoming a better friend, or a better student, or a better writer. I don’t care what the task is, but I always strive to be my best, and then be even better than
In life, it is important to set goals. Many people set their goals high to challenge themselves, while others set them low so they can at least say they accomplished something. Having goals can keep you on the right track to accomplishing them, and set your mind on something. If you didn't set your goals, your life will have no challenge. Every time you set a goal, you’re not just going to blow it off; you’re going to work hard to accomplish that goal.
If everyone puts their heads together, and values each other’s viewpoint on any given task, the end result seems to always turn out better than it would if there was only one mind involved. I am comfortable with setting goals and giving directions to others because I have received the same out of my leadership. I have realized how much easier it is to achieve what is asked if I have direction in the particular task. I need some direction every once in a while, and I feel that others do as well in order to understand what is expected of them. After reviewing my scores in the questionnaire I would like my directive and achievement-oriented leadership skills to improve.
A positive influence plan includes compensation for positive emotions and performance, quality and timely performance evaluations, and timely employee surveys. All of these tools for increasing employee motivation, satisfaction, and performance will not result in immediate change but will allow a manager to identify and assess current and future issues within a team. Increasing an employee’s motivation, satisfaction, and performance is the most difficult aspect of being a manager. By developing a positive and effective influence plan, a manager can be successful in changing all three aspects for the
