(Date) Dear, I know that funding for schools has decreased over the years. So, I have come up with a few ways to help conserve natural resources and to save money. With extra money, you can buy more school supplies to upgrade our school, like markers, pencils, or new gym equipment. One way to conserve natural resources is by saving gas. Students who live closer to our school than others can carpool with their friends, ride their bikes, or walk. Another way to help is to keep recycling paper, plastic, and aluminum. Some poor people in a few countries, such as the Philippines can make use out of products we recycle! Finally, we can save electricity by adding skylights and solar panels. Saving electricity can prevent global warming. These are some ways to conserve natural resources, and how we can become a more eco-friendly school. My first reason is to save gas. By doing this, you can reward each class or grade, a field trip if they behave well throughout the semester, or year. You can also have more students walk or ride their bike to school. Students who ride their bike or walk to school can get exercise and fresh air to get their mind started for the day. There should also be a well-protected place where students can put their bikes until school ends. (School) should let students who live a reasonable distance away from school ride or walk to school. It wouldn’t be fair if students that live so near to the school would be allowed to take the bus. It just saves gas and time. Carpooling with your friends would be good, too, if you live near, or next to each other. By using less gas, you are also preventing air pollution. You are saving the earth, and your money! Another thing
